Questions & Answers

Question: What song by a black male person has the lyric, "darling I'd practice it all for you"?

Respond: The information you've given me is sparse and isn't a direct hit with what I've come up with. It would take been helpful to know the genre (pop, rock, state, etc.), what decade the vocal was pop and whatever other hints.

Even so, here'due south the best I could figure:

Denroy Morgan had a soul song that was a hit in 1981. It referenced the lyrics, "You brand my dreams come up true" (which is why I figured you have this question nether the Dreams Playlist). The title of the song is, "I'll Do Anything for Yous" and here are the lyrics that are shut merely not quite what you recall:

"Goose egg in the globe that I won't practice

I'll give the globe to you if you want me to

I'll do annihilation

Ah, nothing in the world that I won't exercise

I'll requite the world to y'all if you desire me to

I'll do annihilation...."

Is this information technology? I'grand betting (and hoping) then! Here'southward the vocal:

https://world wide web.youtube.com/spotter?five=BnC5zgdr06c.

Question: How can I find the song lyrics for "Always Dreaming" by Jon Nicholson played on Margaritaville radio?

Respond: I've been unable to find these lyrics through the normal channels, nevertheless he is on Facebook and Twitter. Since you're a fan, why not connect with him on social media and inquire him the question?

Question: Who sings a song near dreaming that has words of "when I'chiliad 20 the," "when I'g thirty," and "when I'1000 60"?

Respond: Those are some really specific lyrics, but I constitute nothing in a lyrics search that fit those exact specifications.

Lukas Graham released a very popular 2015 song called "7 Years" that tells the retrospective story of growing up and growing older. Several ages were profiled, including ages twenty, xxx, and 60. Since this is probably not the song you lot're referring to (as information technology'due south not well-nigh dreaming), exit a message in the Comment Section regarding the following to provide further clues:

1) genre (state/stone/pop, etc.)

2) about when was this song popular?

3) did an individual/group or male/female sing information technology?

4) annihilation you think almost the plot or other aspects of this dreaming song?

5) I presume this is an American song?

Leave the details in the Comments Section of the Dreams Playlist, and I'll be happy to endeavour to locate it.

Question: In that location's a song, "I have had a lot of big dreams." Who sings it?

Answer: What I constitute based on that limited information -- and not knowing whether it was a lyric or title or what the genre is -- turns out to be a soft rock vocal from 1985 called "Only As I Am" by Air Supply. The first line is a near-perfect match:

I've had a lot of large dreams

I've made a lot of bad moves

I know you could walk away

But you lot never practice ...

If this isn't it and a reader knows the song you're referring to, I promise they'll leave a note in the Comments Department of the playlist article.

Question: I'm looking for a song with the title, "We Have a Dream for You." Can you help?

Reply: The closest affair seems to be the Casting Crowns' 2014 song, "Dream for You" https://www.youtube.com/picket?v=R8nsJZx8eWw

Question: I'm looking for a archetype rock vocal with an amazing guitar hook throughout, and I'm certain I heard the lyrics, "I've got dreams to think" in there. It seems that the discussion "dreams" was used several times in the song. My search keeps bringing up Otis Redding, but information technology's certainly not him. Do you have any thoughts?

Answer: There are many artists who have covered that song. In an avant-garde search that I did, approximately 25 artists came up, including artists every bit varied as Aretha Franklin, Keith Richards, Toots Hibberts, and Delbert McClinton. Thus, is it possible that y'all are remembering someone else who sang the song, such as prominent guitarist Warren Haynes, known for his work with the Allman Brothers, David Allan Coe, and his association with the Grateful Expressionless? Hither is a YouTube link to the impressive rendition of the song past Warren Haynes: https://www.youtube.com/sentry?v=YgX1k8bbXsk.

Question: What is the song that ends with "I wake from dreams and find that I'k lonely"?

Answer: I remember the song y'all want is below, although notation that I could not find any song that fits your exact description. I searched several lyrics databases, and this is the closest. It ends with lyrics that closely resemble what you offer -- "observe that I'k alone" -- and the theme of the song is dreaming.

"Nightmare" (2007) past Vanilla Sky https://www.youtube.com/picket?v=h1ei9nEg3Ws

Ending lyrics:

I tin remember

What happened before

Should I wake upwards and call you out loud on and on

And it makes me experience bad

When I find that yous're not here

And it makes me and then scared.

When I find that I'grand alone.

Hope this helps!

Question: There's a vocal which includes the line, "All in a dream" Who sings it, please?

Answer: Although I wish you had given more information such every bit genre, the blazon of singer (group/individual, male person/female), or approximate year released, I can offering some possibilities. There are a number of songs that include that line. Here are three:

i) "Afterward the Golden Rush" past Neil Young (1970) (after covered past many other artists)

2) "In a Dream" past Rockwell (1997)

three) "Grab Me While I'm Sleeping" past Pink (2003)

Question: Which song has the lyrics, "goodbye dreams"?

Answer: The song you lot are looking for is past The Kinks, called "Salvation Route" (1973). YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/lookout man?five=7hO0CIqSknQ. Hither are the lyrics from that part of the song:

And nosotros'll all sing a song

As nosotros walk down Salvation Road.

Bye youth, goodbye dreams,

The good times and the friends I used to know.

Question: Tin can anyone recall either the vocal or the ring from the 1980s that had a lyrics "defenseless in your dream sleep"?

Answer: The quoted lyrics may not exist fully accurate. Even so, I did find ii 1980s songs by bands with similar lyrics:

"Head Over Heels" (1982) by ABBA: "And we were defenseless in our sleep"

"Deep Sleep" (1982) by Devo: "I've been caught inside a deep sleep"

Question: What vocal has the lyrics "when it comes to making dreams"?

Answer: The following song is the only 1 I establish: "All Mixed Up" (1996) by Red House Painters https://www.youtube.com/sentinel?v=GQSUIRDs6VE. Hope this is what you were looking for.

Question: What are the lyrics to "Night Dreams" by Johnny Mathis?

Answer: This 1968 song was a not-album track, the "B" side to "You Make Me Recall Nearly You" and its lyrics are very hard to come by. They were not available in several search engines I checked. Withal, you could probably transcribe them from the vocal itself. Here it is on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=To046YtkIpQ.

Question: What song has the lyrics, "dream, dream, dream"?

Answer: At that place are two songs:

i) Johnny Mathis' "Dream Dream Dream" (1964) https://www.youtube.com/picket?v=oXQma1D3NAk

lyrics:

Just close your eyes, forget your sighs a trivial while

dream dream dream.

Each fiddling tear will disappear into a grinning

dream dream dream.

Though your lucky twenty-four hour period seems far abroad

and your plans get incorrect

Build y'all castles high and by and by

honey volition come up along

It's wonderful, how wonderful the globe will see

dream dream dream.

Though your lucky twenty-four hour period seems far away

and your plans go wrong

Build you castles high and by and by

love volition come along

It'southward wonderful, how wonderful the world will see

dream dream dream.

2) "All I Have to Practice Is Dream" by The Everly Brothers (1958) https://www.youtube.com/sentinel?5=tbU3zdAgiX8

lyrics:

Dream, dream, dream, dream

Dream, dream, dream, dream

When I want you lot in my arms

When I want you and all your charms

Whenever I want you lot

All I accept to practice is dream

Dream, dream, dream

When I feel bluish in the dark

And I need you to concur me tight

Whenever I desire you

All I accept to practice is dream

I can make you mine

Taste your lips of wine

Anytime nighttime or twenty-four hours

Simply trouble is

Gee whiz

I'thousand dreamin' my life away

I need you so, that I could die

I love you so and that is why

Whenever I want y'all

All I have to exercise is dream

Dream, dream, dream, dream

I tin make yous mine

Taste your lips of vino

Anytime night or twenty-four hours

Only trouble is

Gee whiz

I'one thousand dreamin' my life away

I need you then, that I could die

I love you and then and that is why

Whenever I want you

All I take to exercise is dream

Dream, dream, dream

Dream, dream, dream, dream

Dream, dream, dream, dream

Dream

Question: I've had this song in my caput all twenty-four hour period. It's a archetype 80s rock audio, but sort of a sad or emotional melody. All I tin actually remember is the chorus starting something like "and I tin can't dream of yesterday" or " from yesterday." It sort of sounds similar REO Speedwagon. Any thought?

Answer: Taking a look at the lyrics you offering, a search reveals the following: "Easier Than This" by Ra (2008) or "I Miss U.s." past Kenny Loggins (2003). I'm non sure about the REO Speedwagon sound. Loggins' vocal seems to match that a little more.

If y'all have more information about the music genre (rock, country, popular), the approximate time frame (1980s, 90s, etc. -- "oldish" is relative), perhaps offer that up as a clue. Lamentable!
